Henkel adhesives will invest in new plants in India. According to foreign reports, Henkel Adhesives Technology India recently announced that it will invest about 30million euros to build a new plant in India to meet the needs of the local market
the new plant is only 50 kilometers away from Pune. It began construction in June this year and is expected to be put into operation in early 2017
the capacity of the new plant will be used to meet the needs of different end markets such as local automobile, metal and industry. Henkel's current customers of polyamide 6 (PA6) in India with good barrier performance and mechanical strength include Maruti Suzuki and Mahinda. The company said that 35% of its business comes from the automotive and metal parts industry
